No Longer Avoiding Reading

Sarah’s mom had great news to share after her vision therapy.

“Six months ago Sarah could not accurately track a line of large print unless she used her finger or some kind of marker. Today she is reading chapter books with smaller print by only moving her eyes. But an even bigger improvement is the fact that she’s not exhausted by reading any more. Before, it was such hard work that she dreaded it and complained – anything to avoid it. Today she usually decides to do her homework before dinner and she’s done in no time. Second grade has been so much easier for her than first grade and I know it’s because of having had vision therapy…I just wish we had known about it sooner!”
