The 20/20 Myth
Many of our patients have been told they have 20/20 vision, yet they still struggle with eyestrain and other uncomfortable symptoms. While 20/20 measures how clearly you can see, it doesn’t show how well your eyes work together or how efficiently they move—both of which can have a big impact on how your eyes feel and function day to day.
A Holistic Approach to Your Vision
Behavioral, or developmental, optometry is a specialized area of optometry that goes beyond checking your eyesight, focusing on the entirety of visual function, examining how well the eyes work together, how they accommodate, or change focus, as well as eye tracking, and eye health.
When you visit us, you are treated as a whole person. We test for specific visual skills that traditional exams might overlook, providing you with the clinical guidance needed to maximize your comfort, eye health, and vision.
Modern Life & Visual Stress
Many of us spend hours focused on computer screens, tablets, and smartphones—putting a tremendous load on our visual systems.
If you experience headaches, neck aches, blurred vision, itchy eyes, are easily distracted when reading, you're not alone. These symptoms and more are often related to vision issues. We can help.
